Why am I so tired?

At this time of year a lot of people are asking “Why am I so tired?”

That’s because its Sleeping Season - the days have been getting colder and darker leading up to the shortest day of the year and all sensible creatures want to eat and sleep.

Though we may try, we can’t fight Mother Nature and her seasonal changes, so all we can do is try to understand what’s going on, and sleep.

The Sleeping Season builds slowly through May and June leading up to today, the shortest day of the year, but starting tomorrow the days slowly get longer again.

July and August really are the heart of winter but we usually get used to the cold by then and as the sunlight gets a little stronger out energy levels will return.

So if you’re tired, understand why and use Sleeping Season to SLEEP because soon it will pass and you don’t want to miss out on the best time of year to rest and recover before spring starts to kick in and our bodies will want to wake up again and do more.
